X20CP0420 - Using Ethernet and Modbus TCP

The X20CP0420 is described as having 1x Ethernet (2-port switch), but when I check in Automation Studio, I only see one ETH interface, and only one IP address can be configured.

I’m planning to use one of the two RJ45 ports for general Ethernet communication (e.g., service access), and the other port for Modbus TCP.
As far as I know, this should be theoretically possible, but I haven’t worked directly with the X20CP0420 myself, so I’m not entirely sure.

Could you please confirm if this setup is possible?

This setup is possible, but as the X20CP0420 has only 1 Ethernet interface (with 2 switched ports) you can only set one IP address to it. Both physical RJ45 ports will work and have the same IP address on them and you can use any Ethernet communications from either physical port.
