Hello, the power button on one of our APC910s has unfortunately been broken (bent and snapped off). Are replacement parts available? Or is it possible to at least find out which type/manufacturer the part is? We would solder it in ourselves.
Hi @Christoph_Auer ,
Which answer do you expect from us?
If you solder any APC910 parts by yourself at least you lose the warranty + if you make any mistake you will damage the APC910.
Are replacement parts available?
Not sure, please call your B&R local Support, they can write a CASE and ask more details to our Support in Austria.
Why you don’t send it to our headquarter for repair? Even in this case you have to involve your B&R local Support.
I can tell that B&R does not send spare plain electronic parts.
So either you send the device for repair or you officially inquire at B&R to probably get the type/model of this switch (not sure if this will be done tbh) but then you would have to solder this on your own and as @valerio.manenti said you will loose warrenty or even damage the APC doing this on your own
Marked as a local support question. You can for sure then repair it by yourself with all risk colleagues have already told you. I would personally go official repair way.
