We normally work in AS4 and have a valid license. Due to some experimenting I installed AS6 and entered my license there, which worked perfectly and I’m licensed for 366 days and can renew it at will. But when I start Automation Code a window comes up after a short while that I have no valid license.
What’s up with that? I have been led to believe that my AS4 license would work with AS6 and it seemingly does, but not with Code?
Hello Hans-Jörgen,
Welcome to the community. According to our help, it is sufficient to have AS6 licensed (Licensing). With the information provided, I have to guess what is happening at your side. I think you might have run into the AI-Assistance limit (Using AS Copilot).
Thank you for your reply, I have not been able to do any requests since I have not been able to get Code working and I haven’t really done very much in Studio either.
This seams to be the about window of your automation studio. Can you please provide me a screenshot of the error message you receive, when opening Automation Studio Code?
Best Regards Adrian
Did you start Automation Studio Code from Automation Studio, or directly? If not this is something you could try. If this doesn’t work i suggest that you get in touch with your local B&R Support for a more detailed investigation.
