CanIO communication error by changing AR version

Hello team,

At customer place, I am facing an issue such that when I run the program in AR version A4.26, my CanIO communication runs well but to generate PIP, I am getting the dialog of Remote install structure - where my USB pendrive is not being detected. For Project Installation Package, If I increase the AR version to anything in 4.93, then the PIP dialog window is getting opened but in this case my CanIO communication is not establishing. What can be Done in such cases?

Hardware: 4PPC30.0702-23B is connected to X20BR7300 via CAN.

Steps Observed:

  • Upgrading the versions for hardwares in the physical view including BM01, and made all the versions to latest according to 4.12.
  • Developing the sample blank project to verify topology again but still the same error occurs.
  • For USB not detection in older version, formatted with FAT32 but still not detecting.
  • Also checked the versions, AS 4.12.6, PVI 4.12, RUC 4.12

Also, there was one more observation that Automation studio was installed in program files in C drive. Not in C:\BrAutomation.

Do let me know for the solution.

AR A4.26 (AS 4.2) does not support PIP yet, but uses the old mechanism.

PIP is available since AS/AR 4.3.
The CanIO not working is a seperate issue.

Building upon what you have suggested there was an observation, where BR7300 modules LED status for β€˜St’ light. It is Steady green with single red flash,

what can be the solution here ?

This points to a general can communication error.
What is the topology of your can network?
Has the first and last station a terminating resistor between CAN H and CAN_L?
