AS4.12 seems supporting the CP360.60-1 with AR I3.10
But I attempt many time to load basic application in this CPU, without success !
Is somebody did it ?
Is it possible ?
Is there a specific procedure to switch the CPU to RUN avec load ?
Thanks
Marc
Unfortunately, you have not described what you have done so far and what problems you have encountered.
- did you create a Compact Flash for it ?
- is it accessible for AS (e.g. read status)
- which status is shown for AR, ‘SERV’ or ‘DIAG’ ?
Hello,
Yes, the goal is first to know if it is possible to use AS4.12 and AR I3.10 with the CP360
(following AS4.12: yes)
To summary the situation:
- I flash the CF with a basic application (simple counter), I try CF 64Mb, 128mb and 512mb
- Put the CF in place
- Power ON
=> the CPU reboot in cycle
No communication
I finally think the CPU is dead
We send the CPU to B&R for diagnosis : B&R answer NO PROBLEM
We will receive the CPU soon…
Thanks
the CPU reboots cyclically
you can force the CPU to ‘DIAG’ mode by a mode switch
then hope you get an INA connection with AS or access the SDM to read the logger.

Yes, the goal is first to know if it is possible to use AS4.12 and AR I3.10 with the CP360
just to confirm that:
I tried this with 3CP360.60-1 / I3.10 / AS 4.12.8.37 and I see no limitations (honestly as expected).
- I flash the CF with a basic application (simple counter), I try CF 64Mb, 128mb and 512mb
Please check if these are CF with B&R serial number. Not all Non-B&R Compact Flash will work !
Thanks for your support !
Nice to hear that it is working.
I try with NON-B&R CF 64 and 128Mb, and a B&R “Swissbit” CF of 512Mb.
I will receive back the CPU from B&R (diagnosis) and will try again
I will also upgrade to 4.12.8
Thanks
Regards
Marc
