Dark Theme for Automation Studio

Hello community,

if someone prefers coding in Dark Theme GUIs, there are two available themes that sort of transform Automation Studio to a dark theme.

You can find them here:

or you can add your own spin to it like I have:

I have also uploaded alternative icons with light colors, which are otherwise difficult to see.

These can be found in the installation folder of Automation Studio, i.e. C:\Program Files\BRAutomation4\AS412\AS\Images

I recommend backing up all three files before replacing them.

If you figure out a way to change the color of table gridlines you would be a hero! These dark themes are great until you open a watch window or something that defaults to a table editor rather than text.

Unfortunately I don’t know if it’s possible. Some parts of Automation Studio still have the old architecture that was not built with the theme concept in mind. Thus, there are no hooks to change the colors of every single frame. Our colleagues wrote the items that we can change on GitHub.
