Does 2005 series CP260 support hot swap of IO modules?

Customer (end user) has two 2005 systems, for one they plug out the IO module the CUP keeps run mode:

For another when plug out IO module the CPU comes red light：

So they think 2005 series can support hot swap, and they let us check the project to see why the second one can not support hot swap.

The question is, for AS 2.4, CP 260, do we support hot swap? is there any config like module supervised? (We have checked their project but we didnt see any config).

An AS V2.4 project has fundamental different handling of the i/o system as later AS verions.
There is no i/o mapping yet and also no ModuleOk mapping.
So I don’t think hot swap was possible yet. Also the 2005 backplane with CPU doubles as system and I/O bus.

But still you could read out the logbook and look what error is generated.

The strange thing is in the first picture customer doing hot swap but the CPU keep run without error.

Please note that this system is not intended for hotplugging.
While it might work it might also happen that the PLC crashes or that even he hardware gets damaged.
Please do not do this
