An AS V2.4 project has fundamental different handling of the i/o system as later AS verions. There is no i/o mapping yet and also no ModuleOk mapping. So I don’t think hot swap was possible yet. Also the 2005 backplane with CPU doubles as system and I/O bus. But still you could read out the logbo…

Please note that this system is not intended for hotplugging.
While it might work it might also happen that the PLC crashes or that even he hardware gets damaged.
Please do not do this
