Getting error ID : -106732818 on logger

Getting error ID : -106732818 on logger. It says NCSYS version on the drive not compatible with NC software version.
Also getting StatusID: -1067278080 on watch window. PLCopenState is :mcAXIS_ERRORSTOP.

With these errors can’t run the motor. Any idea how I could clear these errors.

Hello,
the error number is -1067352818 (not -106732818).
Can you check suggestions from the Cause/Remedy section?
Is McAcpSys presented on the target system?

Are McAcpSys and McAcpDrv versions the same?

Hi,

McAcpSys and McAcpDrv versions were not defined. I corrected it. Still I am getting the error and hardware doesn’t’ show up.

How do I get the compatible version for the drive.

Hello,
could you please share here System dump, option “Parameters + Data-files”. I need more diagnostics information to help you.

Please find the Systems Dump.

(Attachment BuR_SDM_Sysdump_2007-01-01_00-05-01.tar.gz is missing)

I am no able to open/send the system dump file. See below.

Details:
BuR_SDM_Sysdump_2007-01-01_00-05-01.tar.gz: Sorry, the file you are trying to upload is not authorized (authorized extensions: jpg, jpeg, png, gif, heic, heif, webp, avif, zip, pdf, bmp, docx, xlsx, pptx).

I guess this is an IT restriction. In this case share the logger saved from AS.
Share a screenshot of the Physical View as well.

Hello,

I just read your last replies again and realized that the *.tar.gz files are restricted by our Community. You can zip the System dump file (*.tar.gz) and try to upload it again.

The error -1067352818 means incompatibility. You are using 8EI8X8HWS10.XXXX-1, which is supported from version 5.03.0.

Which version do you use?

Is McAcpSys inserted in the SW configuration?

I am using Mapp motion 5.20.2.

It wont allow me to upload these many files. Any specific file you are looking from these.

These files are the important ones for investigating this:

  1. “nwcmdtrace”
  2. “motion”
  3. “arlogsys”

It wont allow to upload attachments.

I am getting this warning after transfer to the target.

Hello Joslet,

First of all, thanks to @pavel.vavra for his excellent help on this issue. I thought I might try to help a little bit as well.

According to one of your recent posts you are using HW module version 2.3.2.0. According to the screenshot below, there are several earlier versions available as well. Have you tried using any of them (for example, 2.3.1.1 or 2.3.0.3)?

By the way, could you please share a photo of the name plate or the specific model name of the ACOPOS P3 drive that you are using?
Also, it would be helpful for us to know the version of AS that you are using.

If you happen to find your drive’s model name in the following list, you will have to use the version 2.3.2.0, which is the latest for now.

ID: 768625
Support of new ACP P3 modules 8EI*-2
The following modules are now supported:
8EI2X2HCT10.XXXX-2
8EI2X2HWT10.XXXX-2
8EI2X2MCT10.XXXX-2
8EI2X2MWT10.XXXX-2
8EI4X5HCT10.XXXX-2
8EI4X5HWT10.XXXX-2
8EI4X5MCT10.XXXX-2
8EI4X5MWT10.XXXX-2
8EI8X8HCT10.XXXX-2
8EI8X8HWT10.XXXX-2
8EI8X8MCT10.XXXX-2
8EI8X8MWT10.XXXX-2

Hope this helps. Please let us know.

Thank you and Best Regards,
Alexander

Hi,

I used 2.3.0.3 version. AS IS V4.12.5.95. There is no warning now, Error now is, configured module not found. The drive used is 8EI8X8HWS10.0600-1. Its missing in the tool box. How do I add it to replace the 8EI8X8HWS10.XXXX-1.

There is no error showing up. The Axis led blinks red. Any idea about waiting for network telegram?

Tried different versions. Still couldn’t get the motor running. Same error keeps on coming.

Hello,

This pattern usually means that the PLC and the Drive are not communicating. The Drive is waiting for the start of communication but it does not happen.

If you have a 8EAD0000.000-1 display module you can verify either that
a) the DNA (Dynamic Module Address) is enabled properly on the drive
or
b) the drive is set to Node Number 1

For more info on this, refer to the p. 231 of the ACOPOS P3 User’s Manual V1.33 (English)

Hello,

Please try to use the 8EI8X8HWS10.0400-1 model instead of 8EI8X8HWS10.XXXX-1.
According to B&R info the 8EI8X8HWS10.0400-1 and 8EI8X8HWS10.0600-1 are only different by the cover.
