I have old hardware x20cp1483 and we connected IF1072 for 4B1270.00-490-k15 . but now customer want to modify this cpu with Cp483 .and i tried to connect this 4B1270.00-490-k15 and also make VC3 for mapp the visu .but after i got 2 errors. “the hardware arm is not supported” and second “need module Aplib version of required range V.099 to higher”. i have also attached the picture. so please help me how can i use this old part with new x20 cpu.

I understood that you exchanged the PLC in the Automation Studio Project. X20CP1483 vs. X20CP0483.
If you exchange the Hardware the Automation Runtime will not be automaticaly changed. So i think you have now to manualy increase the Runtime to an Runtime which supports the ARM-Hardware. I think going to the newest AR available should be easiest.
I know that there are some functions not supported by ARM or slightly different to intel plc’s. For example Div by 0 will result in 0 for ARM.
Binary Libraries must have been compiled for ARM to be usable. So if this aplib is a green Book (binary) you will need the Source Code to compile the Library again with the ARM PLC.
I am not sure if using VC3 on an ARM PLC will be supported. I think this technology was allredy long outdated when the ARM PLC was introduced. I hope some other member has the notes at hand. I may later come back and check…

In other words the CP0483 cannot be used as it is an ARM target
The APLib is (afaik) a VC3 library and therefor it can also not be used on ARM

Thanks for your suggestions. as VC3 will not work in this ARM processor. then please suggest me the best x20 hardware to convert this machine with this 4B1270.00-490-k15 handy. or if any possibility with this hardware then also suggest that how can i use this old handy.

The currently successor of your X20CP1483 would be the X20CP1684.
I would try to start with the original project and replace the PLC with this new Intel based PLC. I think it should be possible to get this compiled.

4B1270.00-490-k15 is a customer specific device. The -K15 indicates this.
Only the original customer is allowed to buy this device and only the original customer is allowed to download upgrade files for this device within AS.
If you are the machine owner then you need to contact the machine manufacturer in order to get the upgrade files
