Hi,Is it possible to replace CP1484-1 Rev D0 with CP1484 Rev J0 with any modification in PLC program?

I think you meant ‘without any modification’, right?

Unfortunately the answer is no. Those PLCs use different hardware, the DRAM size of the X20CP1484-1 variant is double compared to the X20CP1484.

Depending on the software and features used in original project, it could be even hard (maybe impossible) to modificate the project of a X20CP1484-1 to get it running a X20CP1484.

Thanks for support. One more thing if you can guide me it would be of great help that if I have same CPU X20 CP1484-1 but different Rev. Will it work without any modification?

Hi,

yes, different hardware revisions of the same hardware system are compatible (in very rare cases there can be exceptions, for example for prototype/pre-series hardware, but if a product is redesigned an gets incompatible, it also gets a new name, like in your case for example the -1 in the product code).
