Introduction
There are situations in which the IP address of a X20BC0088 needs to be changed manually using the web server. The following procedure walks through the process of connecting to the factory default IP address, deleting the flash memory, and then setting the new IP address.
Note: this procedure is for X20BC0088 firmware version 3.10 and above. In previous firmware versions, it was not required to switch the network address switches to 0x00 before the setting the new IP address parameters. See the below from Page 65 of the X20BC0088 User’s Manual:

Procedure

Set network address switches to 0xFF and power cycle X20BC0088.

Set your PC Ethernet adapter IP settings to 192.168.100.2 (anything except 192.168.100.1) and then navigate to “192.168.100.1” (factory default) on a web browser – the web server should come up.

Go to the “Advanced > Expert Features” tab and delete the flash memory by selecting “Process” next to Delete flash. It will ask you if you are sure you want to delete flash – hit OK.

Set the network address switches to 0x00 and power cycle the X20BC0088.

Once it boots back up, the web server should come back up (still on 192.168.100.1). Once it does, navigate to “Advanced > Set Network Parameters”.

If you are not already logged in, log in to the X20BC0088 by selecting “Login” with the default username (admin) and password (X20BC0088).

Set the network parameters as desired and then hit “Submit”. Once the Submit button is greyed out, the settings have been saved.

Power cycle the X20BC0088. Change your PC Ethernet adapter IP address to 192.168.1.3 (anything but 192.168.1.2), and once the bus controller is back online, navigate to “192.168.1.2” in your web browser.

You should see the X20BC0088 web server come up with the new IP address.
