Hi @Kalyan_K, welcome to B&R Community. To get the best answer and help from other B&R users, please always describe your issue or question in as much detail as possible. Is the information Alexander provided enough for you, or do you need something more?

HI Jaroslav,

Previously, we were using the B&R 4PPC70.0702 controller, where we had configured and installed and were able to view the tag values in Kepware OPC server. Now, we are upgrading to the B&R X20CP0482 controller and have uploaded the same backup file into the new PLC. Now we are receiving an error message indicating an “Automation Runtime Mismatch.” Please suggest how to configure the old backup file to work on the new PLC.

It should be quite easy. Open the project with the original C70 controller, select CPU in the project and exchange it with CP0482, adapt changes (e.g., visualization must be connected from terminal to VNC server, etc.). Check that the AR version for CP0482 is installed in AS and compile the project. If you have 0 errors, you can install the adapted project to CP0482. The best approach is to go to BOOT mode, clear CP, and transfer everything including AR.

Currently, we don’t have a 4PPC70 controller available. Is there an alternative way to install the same backup onto the X20CP0482 controller?

important note. You have source project, right?

yes,we have backup file that is not working in x20cp0482 model

Please guide me on how to resolve this issue. If you are available, we can connect on Teams for support

backup file is not the same like source project. Backup files you can not restore on different type of PLC . this will not work. If you have source file project, open them in Automation Studio, exchange hw, compile and download. If you need assistance, please get in contact with your local office support. Do you know how to contact them?
