We must change the X20SL8010 with newer X20SL8101, but original safety application is not written in mapp Safety. Will it work if we use suggested X20MK0223? On other machines with same CPU and safety applications we already have X20SL8101 with X20MK0211, but from the B&R logistics we got answer that it is not possible to order this SafeKey anymore..
This is interesting, so on the old machine where safety application was developed not with mapp Safety and for unlucky case your old Safe Key X20MK0201 or X20MK0203 is damage,
you have to buy new Safe LOGIC X20SL8101 + new Safe Key X20MK0223 + convert the prj with mapp Safety? it looks like “not smooth“ fix to me.
Not sure if the Community is the correct channel for your situation, maybe a call with your B&R Sales will help more.

I see a note from Support team: X20MK020x → only compatible for discontinued X20SL80xx
Functionality not dependent on SafeKey but on specificic X20SL80xx (8001 vs 8000,…)
X20MK0223 is the best option for mappSafety >= 5.12
But in case you are not using mapp Safety (Legacy Safety) there is another SafeKey (I hope you can order that, the LifeCycleStatus is not obsolete for what I see, but I’m not Sales so I don’t want to give you wrong information, double check with your Sales):
I read one note in our Support system: X20MK0213 can be ordered with licenses using the X20MK configurator. Licenses cannot be added or exchanged - licenses are installed at the factory based on the ordered configuration. In other words If you simply order the X20MK0213 then it will not work. With that key you need Sales to run through their configurator this will combine the X20MK0213 with safety licenses.
Clarify with your Sales this LifeCycleStatus note:
I configured X20MK0211 with licenses on it and that gives me new product code. This new code I have sent to order dpt and I am still waiting for confirmation. I hope we still can get this key. Technically this is clear for me now and I will checked this case as solved. Thank you!
