X67DI1371 does not power the sensors connected to it

I have a system that uses X67DI1371 module. The module is powered by 24VDC, the power LED is on. But all the sensors connected to the ports on this module don’t have 24VDC which is provided by the module. Do you know what cause this and how to fix it?

Hi,

X67 modules have separated power supply inputs for X2X Bus and IO.
So which LEDs are exactly active (and what color) on status indicator 1 and status indicator 2?
Does the IO power supply also signals that power is availiable?

Hello Alex,

Thank you for the reply. Both indicators are on in green. All the sensors connected do not have 24V power. Does the module have short circuit protection?

Hi,

I’m not 100% sure but I think so. But the module is in error, the right led of indicator 2 should be red as I remember?
When you’re online connected with the PLC and using monitor mode on the modules IO mapping, is there anything suspicious (I’m not sure if there are status datapoints on that module and if yes, if they are enabled in the module configuration)?
I can’t check in detail as I’m already out of office…
