Safety control acknowledge in module

Hi evereyone,

This question comes from our workers that are in the field and we as programmers are, for some reason, not available at the moment.

When they changed a SO module and I was not available to acknowledge the change trough SAFE SESIGNER, they tried to do it in the controller itself trough the enter key.

However it didn’t work and the Safety PLC was in Stop state and of course I had to RESET the safety in order to get control again because it was blocked after the use of the button.

Does anyone had a similar experience, what could have caused this?

Have you power cycle the machine after you have replaced SO module?
Could you upload SystemDump?

Hi, the problem itself is already solved trough a Reset from SAFE Designer the day after.

Is just in case it will happen again. Unfortunately I didn’t made the system dump on the moment I will check if the customer is online on monday.
