X20IF10D1-1 EtherNET/IP Master - Multiple Connections

Hello Austin and Sandro,
i want to interface an EtherNetIP Adapter (ifm VSE151) which offers a process-image using multiple input-assemblies and one output-assembly. Am i right that this is not possible with a B&R IF10D1_1 scanner?
i can only select ONE single connection from the dropdown-menu, but i need several assemblies (InAssembly 104+105+106 + OutAssembly 154 at the same time).
Austin, you mentioned that it should be possible to select multiple Listen-only connections? How can i do that?
The entry in the menu is “Connection” and not “Connections”… is this a hint that B&R does not allow multiple EIP connections?

If i can only select ONE connection the process image is limited to 255 bytes.
If i need to read more than 255 bytes from the Slave(adapter), how is it possible?

Any help appreciated,
Best Regards, Albert

Hello everyone,

sorry for digging in the dirt…

I’ve same problem: I need to connect to at least 2 connections.

Has someone found a solution for this?

Thanks & best regards

Rolf

Hello,

as far as I know it is not possible to have more than one input or output assembly to a slave

(at least I would not know how to do this)

best regards

Oliver
